Lowering temperatures

As part of its decarbonization strategy, our customer needs to lower the temperature of its thermal network to integrate more renewable heat sources (heat pumps, waste heat recovery, solar thermal). To achieve this, he needs a better understanding of substation dynamics to optimize energy efficiency while keeping investment costs under control.

Proactive detection of anomalies

In the context of a district heating network comprising several dozen substations, the operator was faced with a common but difficult challenge: excessively high return temperatures from a small number of sites were impairing the efficiency of the network as a whole. In the absence of intelligent diagnostic tools, these problematic substations remained invisible in the mass of data, resulting in over-consumption of energy, increased heat losses and unnecessary pressure on heat generators.
