Data Science Intern
You are a student in data science, engineering or a related field, with initial experience (academic or practical) in developing Machine Learning models and a strong appetite for concrete applications in the field of energy and sustainability. You are proactive, curious, and ready to take up the challenge of a stimulating internship, focused on concrete results for the energy transition. You will contribute to the development of models to assist district heating network operators in optimizing their infrastructures. Your work could include projects in anomaly detection and classification, dynamic modeling and optimal control, bringing real added value to efforts to reduce energy consumption and improve performance.
Your missions:
- Develop and train Machine Learning models to anticipate and identify malfunctions in heating networks.
- Design and implement solutions for system optimization, based on dynamic modeling and optimal control methods.
- Analyze time series to evaluate and refine model performance.
- Collaborate with technical teams to integrate your solutions into a production environment.
Skills developed during the internship:
- Solid knowledge of Machine Learning
- Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language (Python, Java, etc.)
- Skills in time series analysis
- Knowledge of energy systems
Languages:
- French: intermediate level required
- English: basic level required
